While browsing for information design articles one day, I came across a challenge at www.elzr.com to design a usable calendar to fit on a business card. After a few iterations this is the design I'm most satisfied with.

Some features:

• Compact - The whole year fits legibly on two sides of a business card
• Intuitive - the design does not need to be explained
• Markable - dates can be circled or periods outlined
• Disposable - should a card become dogeared or messy, it's easy to print off another
